· You will lose all your points at your current grade.

DISCIPLINARY HEARINGS

The following Disciplinary Hearings were held recently, with penalties as noted :

Stefan Wybenga (Custodial Member)

Summary of Evidence : At the Post Derby Oktoberfest on 01/11/09, the accused entered the judges box, argued with and refused to accept a decision by the judge, raised his voice and acted in an aggressive manner towards the judge and other officials and, in so doing, held up the competition.

Finding : Guilty

Penalty : A fine of R4 000 together with a written apology to the judge and officials concerned.

Summary of Evidence : Entered the same horse in the 2-3 year old class at :

2009 Horse of the Year after it had turned 3; and

2010 Horse of the year show after it had turned 4.

Finding : Guilty

Penalty : A fine of R2 500 plus loss of title.

GHS is delighted to advise that we have secured Blue Bulls Mental Fitness Coach, Jannie Putter,
to run the following two courses for our members.
Those who have already attended Jannie's courses have raved about how much they learned and benefited.

We can only accept 22 candidates, so BOOK EARLY to AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT!

MENTORSHIP COURSE:

There are still a few places available for tomorrow night.

This will take place on a weekly basis on a Wednesday evening from 6pm - 7pm, commencing 04 August 2010. The duration of this course is approximately 3 months.

This will focus on developing and training of basic life & communication skills, public conduct and best decision-making resulting in a strong self-image, development of self-confidence and personal leadership.

The cost for this training will be R350 per child per session for members and R375 per child per session for non-members.

CATERERS AT KEP

After 8 wonderful years of service, Di Watson has decided to hang up her apron and move on to another exciting venture.

We are therefore looking at various options for the catering from 1^st January 2010, although we would like to finalize the arrangements by the end of September to ensure a smooth transition.

GHS ARE LOOKING FOR TWO REASONABLE PRICED SECOND HAND CARAVANS
TO REPLACE THE OTHERS THAT ARE NO LONGER SERVICEABLE.

I will be offering group sessions with very individualized attention.
I am situated at Kyalami Equestrian Park, 1 Dahlia Road, Kyalami - in the clubhouse.
I will be teaching on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 07.15 to 08.15. Cost per class is R90.00.
A 10% is offered for a limited period to GHS members only. A further 5% will be offered to those who are attending the class and personally introduce someone new.
This offer is only valid for the first 3 months. Classes begin August 2010.
